Love You a Latke

Here's my card for the current (and final) Lawnscaping challenge.  I made an interactive Hanukkah card using Lawn Fawn's Love You a Latke stamp set.

Love You a Latke card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Lawn FawnI colored up the set's pan and latke images, then cut out the colored images with the matching dies.  My idea was to have the latkes flipping out of the pan, so I needed a plate for them to land on.  The plate from the Milk and Cookies set worked perfectly!  All of the pieces were arranged on a pale gray cardstock panel around a die cut curved channel, using foam tape for dimension.  It isn't exactly like I envisioned, but it comes close enough!

I stamped the "happy Hanukkah" greeting above the images, then added the punny latke sentiment at the bottom of the panel.  The finished panel was adhered to a navy blue card base.

Materials Used:
Love You a Latke and Milk and Cookies stamp sets, Love You a Latke and Milk and Cookies dies (Lawn Fawn); Memento Tuxedo Black and Nautical Blue inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); markers (Copic); Grout Gray cardstock, Die-namics Circle Spinner Channel dies (My Favorite Things); Night of Navy cardstock (Stampin' Up!); foam tape
