The theme for
this month's Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge is winter. I don't have any
Concord & 9th stamps that are really winter stamps, so I improvised by using the Flourish set to make some wintery foliage.
I did my stamping on kraft cardstock, starting with a white pigment ink layer. The white images were stamped over with colored dye inks. So pretty! It gives the images a snow-capped look. For extra snowy sparkle, I coated the berries with a clear glitter pen. I filled the space at the center of the panel with the "happy holidays" sentiment from the Happy Words stamp set. The words were stamped in gold, then heat embossed for a nice pop. The finished panel was adhered to a cream card base.
Materials Used:
Flourish and Happy Words stamp sets (Concord & 9th); Delicata Golden Glitz, Memento Luxe Wedding Dress and Memento Pistachio, Bamboo Leaves, Rhubarb Stalk, and Rich Cocoa inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Gold embossing powder (American Crafts)
Beautiful!
