This Challenge Made Me Happy . . .
This challenge made me happy because I got to use a new stamp set! These cards are a combination of this week's Technique Lover's Challenge and Color Challenge from Splitcoast Stampers. This is a set of 4 cards using the same stamp set, background, sentiment set, and color scheme (per the TLC). A challenge to make 4 cards with the same set was the perfect excuse to break in my new set, You Make Me Happy. Because the set includes 2 sentiments and some great texture in the images, there wasn't much need for the extra sentiment set or for the background. I love how Stampin' Up! is making more and more stamp sets that have texture and variation in the stamped image. Even though I've accumulated a bunch of floral sets lately (and I'm not a very floral kind of person usually), the textured elements made this set was different enough to justify adding it to my collection.
Materials Used:
From Stampin' Up!: You Make Me Happy, Mixed Greetings, and Linen stamp sets; Cranberry Crisp, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Very Vanilla cardstock; Cranberry Crisp, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, and Basic Brown Classic inks; Certainly Celery marker; scallop scissors; mat pack and paper piercer; white gel pen; word window punch, large oval punch; ticket corner punch; celery grosgrain; stampin' dimensionals
