Wild Trio

I'm so excited--I got a promotion! I'm now a regular member of the Starving Artistamps design team rather than a guest designer. This is a great time to be on the team since some new DoodleFactory images are on their way. While I'm waiting for the new images to arrive, here's a card I made using the teeny, tiny versions of three of the DoodleFactory Animals. Lauren's sketch was perfect for highlighting those small images that can be tricky to use on standard sized cards.

I stamped the three wild animals from the set in black ink on white cardstock, then colored them with Copic markers. They're each matted on a slightly larger piece of yellow cardstock.

I used Nestabilities dies to create the circle and pinked circle panels for the cardfront. If you look close, you can see that I used my paper piercing tool to pierce holes between each of the points on the outer circle. I layered a pair of ribbons (more from my scrap jar!) across the panel , then set the little animal guys over the ribbon with dimensionals.

The bottom of the cardfront is stamped with the polka dot background stamp. I stamped the "wild about you" sentiment on a scrap of pink paper and attached it to the cardfront with a brad.
