Sketches {by Tamara}: Recipe 46

Here's my card for this week's recipe challenge at Sketches {by Tamara}. This week's required ingredients were stitching (real or faux), rub-ons, and somthing that flies. I combined the recipe with this week's Paper Craft Planet sketch challenge from Jessica to create this card.

I used the 3 Step Butterflies set from Kitchen Sink Stamps for my focal image. The multi-step butterfly image was stamped in three different inks picked to coordinate with the patterned paper panel on the bottom of the card.

I combined the required stitching and rub-on elements by using rub-on stitches to create the stitched corner at the bottom of the image panel. I balanced the stitching with a piece of chocolate chip ribbon knotted at the top of the panel and the "dream" sentiment from Vintage Words stamped at the bottom.

Materials Used:
3 Step Butterflies and Vintage Words stamp sets (Kitchen Sink Stamps); Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, and So Saffron Classic inks, Tangerine Tango, More Mustard, and Whisper White cardstock, Haiku designer series paper, Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon (Stampin' Up!); copper brad (Making Memories); rub ons (Creative Imaginations)
