Take a Leap
Just a quick post this morning since I'm heading out to a Copic certification class. I'm excited about really learning how to use these markers that I've invested so much money in! My stamping friend Larcy will be there, too, and it will be fun to catch up with her today.

I used the colors from Kristina's latest color inspiration challenge as the basis for this card. This week's challenge uses Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, and Whisper White. My new sets from The Greeting Farm arrived today and I thought the frog image from the Down by the Pond set would work perfectly with this color combo.
I stamped the frog image on a scrap of white cardstock, colored the image with Kiwi Kiss-ish Copic markers, then cut it out. I attached it to a patterned lily pad I made using an oval Nestabilities die, a piece of patterned paper, and a felt flower.

The Top Note piece is on a Kiwi Kiss card base with a piece of Chocolate Chip ribbon knotted around it. I stamped the "take a leap" sentiment on the side of the card. What a fun card to send to someone as a note of encouragement!
