Lavender Thanks

Here's a quick card I made tonight based on Lauren's inspiration challenge piece. I really liked the color combination, which I interpreted as purple and kraft with some white thrown in--probably not colors I would have paired on my own. I pulled out some supplies from i {heart} papers to put this card together.

I used SU!'s Lavender Lace for most of my purple here. This is a color I don't use too often--LOL! I paired it with a kraft panel covered with randomly stamped flower images from the Hero Arts Thoughtful Messages stamp set. I used Lavender Lace and white pigment inks to pick up the colors from the inspiration piece. I dotted the center of each flower with a little bit of Silver Pearl Liquid Pearls. It added just a little shimmer to the panel.

I added some more shimmer by wrapping a piece of lavender glimmer ribbon around the panel. The "thanks" sentiment panel overlaps the ribbon and is embellished with a pair of felt flowers.

Materials Used:

other: Lavender Lace Classic ink, White Craft ink, Lavender Lace, Elegant Eggplant, and Kraft cardstock, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch (Stampin' Up!); 1 1/2" circle punch (EK Success)
