Oh, Behave!

Here's my card for today's SCS featured stamper challenge (and for this week's pet themed challenge at Our Creative Corner, too). It's based on this dog themed card found here. I kept the layout the same, but changed the stamps and paper used, plus some of the embellishments.

I used one of the dog images from the Pat the Bad Dog stamp set from Our Craft Lounge for the focal image on my card. This set's on sale right now at i {heart} papers--and so is a lot of other good stuff!

This scene totally reminds me of my very own Cosmo the crazy dog. His dish is anchored into a feeding "station," so he can't actually remove it to dump the food out, but he always sifts through his food with his big nose before he eats so that a good portion of it ends up on the floor. I'm not sure what he thinks he'll find in his dish other than food, but he always looks--LOL! The image is colored with Copic markers then cut out and attached to the background panel with dimensionals. The background was very easy to make using two different Sassafras Lass designer papers and a Nestabilities circle die.

I added the "Oh, Behave!" sentiment from the coordinating Pat the Dawg House stamp set. A piece of twill tape, printed with dog paw prints, is tied underneath the sentiment.
