Just Boo-Cause
As promised, here's another card using the Costume Party stamp set, the newest addition to the DoodleFactory line from Starving Artistamps.
I used this week’s sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You as the basis for my card. I stamped the ghost image on shimmery white cardstock for a little sparkle, then colored the image with Copic markers before cutting it out. I layered the ghost over a panel of spooky Halloween themed patterned paper and added a bright yellow moon to my tiny scene.
The scene’s set on a black panel embossed with the Cuttlebug Spider Web embossing folder. I rubbed some shimmery white ink over the raised areas of the embossed panel to highlight the web just a bit more.
The sentiment, from the Grave Yard Sentiments set, is stamped directly on the green ribbon that’s stretched across the card. I added a simple, single button as the final embellishment.
Materials Used:
DoodleFactory Costume Party and Grave Yard Sentiments stamp sets (Starving Artistamps); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Orchid Opulence, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, and Shimmery White cardstock, 1 ¾” circle punch, dimensionals (Stampin’ Up!); Moonlight White pigment ink (Brilliance); designer paper (Recollections-Halloween pad); Spider Web embossing folder (Cuttlebug); circle dies (Nestabilities); Spring Moss button (Papertrey Ink); twine (Walmart); green ribbon (Michaels); blue Glaze pen (Sakura)
