PCP is also celebrating World Cardmaking Day today with a Group Hop, starting today at 9:00 am EST and wrapping up at 10:00 pm EST. A different group will host each hour. There will be challenges, games, prizes, and lots of fun, so be sure to check in. You can find information about the lineup here.
And, it’s also time for this week’s sketch challenge. I’m the hostess for this week’s challenge and I have a sketch that I’ve been playing around with this week to share with you. If you stopped by earlier this week, you saw this card using the sketch. I liked how it turned out, so I thought I'd use it for the sketch for this week's challenge.

I used the Morocco Lace border punch along the bottom edge of the silver panel. It seemed like a nice match for the image. The sentiment is stamped above the decorative edge. I found that VersaFine ink works nicely on a shimmery paper like this one. I tried my Memento ink first and it looked kind of washed out. I added a pair of self adhesive pearls to the left edge of the panel. The card is so shimmery and elegant IRL--the photo doesn't do it justice!
If you play along, be sure to use the keyword sk100309 when you upload to the PCP gallery so I can add it to the album with the other cards from this week's challenge.
