Take the Challenge: Holiday Décor
It’s time for another Take the Challenge with Clear & Simple Stamps. The theme for this month’s challenge is holiday décor. I created this quick and easy candle trio that would be a lovely holiday table centerpiece.
The large candle is covered with the blue snowflake image from the Cookie Bake set. I simply stamped the image randomly on a strip of white tissue paper that matched the size of my candle, rolled the stamped tissue around the candle, wrapped the candle/tissue with waxed paper and heated with my heat tool to adhere the stamped images underneath a new wax layer.
The smaller tealight covers are made using the same snowflake image. This time, I stamped the snowflake on a vellum panel and attached it behind the round window openings in the cardstock cover. I added a single rhinestone to the center of each snowflake for a little sparkle. The top edge of the covers is punched with a snowflake border punch for a fun seasonal feel. White organdy ribbon wrapped around the tealight covers and the candle tie the elements together.
