I'm All Ears
Here’s a shadowbox card featuring one of the rabbit images from the Best Bunnies set from Clear & Simple Stamps. If you haven’t yet added this cute set to your collection, you still have a few more days to use the discount code CSS0310 to get $1 off your purchase.
I stamped the rabbit on white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers, then carefully cut it out. I set the rabbit aside while I used a cloud template and blue ink to sponge in a cloudy backdrop for my simple scene. The rabbit is layered on the scene using foam tape.
The front of the shadow box is embossed with a dot pattern. I used a Nestabilities circle die to cut the opening in the front. The strip of grass, created with a Martha Stewart border punch, is attached to the back of the pink frame using foam tape for a layered look. I added the coordinating sentiment on a circle panel. It’s accented with a sweet pink gingham bow with a button at the center.
Materials Used:
Best Bunnies stamp set, pink button (Clear & Simple Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Regal Rose and Bashful Blue Classic inks, Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose cardstock, pink gingham ribbon, scallop circle punch (Stampin’ Up!); 1 3/8” circle punch (EK Success); circle die (Nestabilities); Swiss Dot embossing folder (Cuttlebug); grass border punch (Martha Stewart); foam tape; cloud template
