Merry and Bright with Spots

I won this new Moonlight Whispers Merry image in a recent Kraftin' Kimmie challenge. I put her to use for this week’s Kraftin' Kimmie challenge to use polka dots in your creation.

I colored Merry and her yummy-looking turkey with Copic markers and carefully cut her out. The heart on her apron is covered with Stickles for just a little glitz and sparkle.

The rest of the card is simple. I used two coordinating papers from KaiserCraft’s Christmas Carnival line, including one with polka dots, for the panels on the pink card base. Each is matted with white to set it off a little from the cardfront without adding any more colors to the mix. I stamped the “merry and bright” sentiment on a piece of pink grosgrain ribbon that was notched at one end. It’s attached across the striped panel. Merry is layered on to the card with some foam tape.

Materials Used:
Moonlight Whispers Merry (Kraftin Kimmie Stamps); white cardstock (Couture Cardstock); Tuxedo Black ink (Memento); markers (Copic); Pink Pirouette cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Christmas Carnival designer paper (KaiserCraft); Ruby Slippers Glitz Stickles (Ranger); pink grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); foam tape
