Blogger Challenge: Week 183
This week’s blogger challenge theme is Christmas. I don’t celebrate the holiday, so I made a non-holiday specific, wintery themed mini gift bag for the challenge. The bag’s a perfect size for holding a gift card or another small treat.
I used the snowflake image from the Icons I set from Clear and Simple Stamps to stamp a trio of images on a white panel. Each flake has a clear crystal at the center for a little sparkle. I layered the panel on a True Blue Fan panel, then on a Trendsetter Blue panel. The “warm winter wishes” sentiment from the coordinating Icons Extra set is stamped at the bottom of the panel in True Blue Fan ink.
To dress up the bag a little more, I added a blue satin bow on the handle. A matching blue button is attached to the bow’s center.
For more Christmas ideas, you can check out what the rest of the challenge players have created. Links to their blogs are in the sidebar on the right.
Materials Used:
Icons I and Icons Extras stamp sets, True Blue Fan and Trendsetter Blue inks, True Blue Fan, Trendsetter Blue, and A Blanc Check cardstock, True Blue Fan satin ribbon, True Blue Fan button (Clear and Simple Stamps); twine (Papertrey Ink); clear crystals (Imaginisce); white gift bag

Lori,
ReplyDeleteThis is a darling winter gift bag. i love the snowflakes with the bling in the middle. I also agree that the dark blue satin bow on the handle really dresses this gift bag up a lot. That sentiment is very sweet also. I'll have to check out that company icons extra. I've never heard of that brand.
Such a cute little holiday gift bag!
