Sending You Warm Thoughts
Here's my card for today's SCS clean and simple challenge to use the kissing technique. This card came together in less than half an hour and I'm really happy with it. It's a perfect one for a chilly day like today, too.
I used the kissing technique on the solid mug/cup image from Papertrey Ink's Warm Happiness Too set. The solid stamp was inked with Sweet Blush pigment ink, then kissed with a pattern from the Background Basics: Tin Types set and stamped on a white die cut. The results are subtle, but pretty.
The cup is set on a kraft panel using foam tape. I added some steam coming from the cup using white ink and the sentiment beneath it in brown ink. A matching pink button embellished bow dresses up the panel. I matted it on a Dark Chocolate panel, then set it on a pink card base.
Materials Used:
Warm Happiness Too and Background Basics: Tin Types stamp sets, Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate, and Fresh Snow inks, Sweet Blush, Dark Chocolate, Kraft, and White cardstock, Warm Happiness die, Sweet Blush grosgrain ribbon, Sweet Blush button (Papertrey Ink); pink twine (Divine Twine); foam tape
