Have a Blast
I recently got some stamps from Waltzingmouse and couldn't wait to try them out after their long journey from Ireland to the DC area. I combined the latest Waltzingmouse sketch with this week's CAS-ual Fridays tic tac toe challenge for this fun card. The three elements I used on my card were buttons, embossing, and punches/die cuts.
I stamped the rocket ship image from Half Pint Heroes on white cardstock and added one of the little faces peeking out from the ship's window. The image is colored with Copic markers and I added a clear dome sticker over the rocket ship's window for a glass-like look. The ship is set on a navy blue dot embossed panel using foam tape.
For the sketch's trio of circle elements, I used two stars, punched out of silver paper, and a big yellow button for a moon. I added the "have a blast" sentiment in red ink along the side of the image panel, omitting the "on your big day" part for space purposes.
Materials Used:
Half Pint Heroes stamp set (Waltzingmouse Stamps); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Memento Tuxedo Black and Ladybug inks (Tsukineko); Night of Navy and Bashful Blue cardstock, star punch (Stampin' Up!); silver paper (Recollections); Polka Dots embossing folder (Cuttlebug); button (Papertrey Ink); clear dome sticker (Making Memories); foam tape
