Warm Wishes and Dreams

Here's my card for today's SCS sketch challenge. I combined Papertrey Ink's Daydreamer set with a warm color scheme for this simple card.

I stamped a pair of stems in green ink, then added the solid flower images to the stems after using the rock and roll technique to ink the stamps to add interest. After stamping the sentiment in the upper left corner of the panel, I used my airbrush and a pale blue marker to add a very soft sky-like background to the panel.

The rest of the card is simple. I used a pair of coordinating patterned papers from PTI's Autumn Abundance paper collection for the panels, matting one with orange cardstock and running a strip of orange grosgrain ribbon over the other for texture. A trio of tiny pearls set in the white space in the lower left of the image panel finishes the design.

Materials Used:
Daydreamer stamp set, Autumn Abundance papers (Papertrey Ink); More Mustard Classic ink, Pumpkin Pie cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sweet Corn cardstock (Gina K Designs); Vivid Straw ink (Clearsnap); Memento Bamboo Leaves ink (Tsukineko); B21 marker (Copic); orange grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); self-adhesive pearls (Recollections)
