Blogger Challenge: Week 226
This week’s blogger challenge theme is fall blooms. I created this clean and simple card featuring the sunflower image from Our Craft Lounge’s Fall Sunflower set to fit the challenge.
The sunflower’s stamped on a white panel and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the flower part a second time, colored it, and cut it out so I could layer it on the image with a dimensional dot. The flower’s center is covered with Brown Sugar Sparkly Fluff for a textured look.
I attached a panel of patterned paper near the bottom of a golden yellow card base and ran a strip of orange corduroy ribbon over the paper to add some texture before setting the image panel over it. A wooden button, tied with green baker’s twine, sits at the end of the ribbon. I stamped one of the set’s coordinating sentiments at the bottom of the card in orange ink.
