Color Throwdown 168-Just Married

Keva’s our hostess for this week’s Color Throwdown. She’s chosen Riding Hood Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, and Basic Gray as this week’s colors. I went elegant but still clean and simple for my design.

I started with a cream card base and covered the bottom of the cardfront with a pretty patterned paper panel. The yellow’s not exactly So Saffron, but it’s close enough for me! A strip of black satin ribbon across the top visually divides the pattern from the rest of the card.

I stamped the wine glass image from the Taglines set from Clear and Simple Stamps twice above the ribbon and colored the glasses with Copic markers. One of the set’s heart images is stamped in red just above the glasses and the “just married” sentiment is stamped underneath them. For a little sparkle, I covered the goblets with Glossy Accents and sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds over them while still wet.
