Color Throwdown 173 and Another Sneaky Peek!

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! You might notice that we’ve freshened up our look to start off the year things up a little bit—hope you like our new look as much as we do! This week’s colors come to us from Barbara. She’s given us a classic color combination to work with—Real Red, Basic Black, and Basic Gray and/or silver.

I got all 4 of the colors on my card, which also doubles as a Sneaky Peek of Feelin’ Cupidy, a new set releasing next week from The Cat’s Pajamas. The challenge colors were the perfect color scheme for this mischievous, arrow-toting bunny. I colored the bunny gray, then sprinkled glitter over his wings. The cutout image is set on the top of the card using foam tape.

I made a fun red pennant strip for the bottom of the card, accenting it with a silver strip along the center. The sentiment is at one end of the pennant strip—I was going for a kind of target/bulls-eye look to go with the arrow . . . The new CutUps Queen of Hearts border die makes an appearance underneath the red strip. Isn’t it pretty?
