Oh Baby

Here’s one more card featuring images and dies from the latest release from Clear and Simple Stamps. I mixed and matched stamps and dies to create this clean and simple baby card for this week’s baby card challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.

I used the cute giraffe image from the Baby Shower set as my focal image. The giraffe was die cut from a piece of yellow and gold patterned paper using a die from the Baby Shower die set, then stamped with the matching outline image. I set it on a light blue card base, attaching a dotted green strip beneath the image as grass. The “oh baby” sentiment is stamped next to the giraffe in blue ink. To finish the scene, I added a pinking edged circle sun with a fluffy white felt cloud. Too sweet!

Materials Used:
Baby Shower stamp set, Dish All the Dirt Brown and Party Teal Dawn inks, Trendsetter Blue and Say Yellow to All Your Fans cardstock, Baby Shower and Spring dies, button (Clear and Simple Stamps); Watermelon Gazpacho 6x6 paper pad (Jillibean Soup); Hometown Summer 6x6 paper collection (Pink Paislee); pinking circle die (Spellbinders); cream linen thread (The Cat’s Pajamas); white felt; foam tape
