Simple Chemistry

This week's Our Craft Lounge challenge is a color challenge to use black and white with a pop of one other color. I went with the pretty traditional black, white, and red color scheme along with the fun Love Potions set for my card.

The cluster of beakers and test tubes serves as my focal image. I left the image mostly white, coloring just the hearts, then covering the image with Glossy Accents for a glass-like look. The image is attached to a white panel with dimensional dots and the "we've got great chemistry" sentiment is stamped underneath the raised image in black ink.

The rest of the card is straightforward and simple. The image panel is layered on black and red panels. I set it on a white panel with a block of black cardstock at the bottom. A single red button, tied with black baker's twine, sits at the top of the image panel as an accent.

I hope you'll pick your pop of color and play along. There's a stamp set up for grabs for a randomly selected participant from this month's challenge entries. Check out all the challenge details and this week's entries on the OCL blog.
