Sneaky Peek: Aye, Aye Captain
Are you ready for another Sneaky Peek for the upcoming release from The Cat's Pajamas? I hope so! The peeks continue today with a look at the new Aye, Aye Captain set. I combined my peek with this week’s blogger challenge, a great sketch designed by our challenge leader, Lisa.
I stamped the boating bunny image on a white cardstock panel, using the out of the box technique to accommodate his big floppy ears. I colored the image with Copic markers to coordinate with the mostly red and teal papers I used on the cardfront. A blue dotted panel covers most of the cardfront. I found a piece with wavy, curly-q lines for the panel at the center of the card—it seemed like a good match for the image’s water theme! It’s edged along the top and bottom with a red strip cut with TCP’s Circus Border CutUps die for a fun detail.
Be sure to check out Alma’s blog for a full list of all of the Cat Pack members who will be sharing sneak peeks today. And, don’t forget to stop by our In It to Win It thread in the TCP forum on SCS. A random commenter will be picked each day to win a set from the new release!
Materials Used:
Aye, Aye Captain stamp set, Neenah white cardstock, CutUps Circus Border die (The Cat’s Pajamas); Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Bermuda Bay and Riding Hood Red cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Aqua Mist cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Miss Caroline-Dilly Dally 6x6 paper pad (My Mind’s Eye)
