This week’s blogger challenge theme is Christmas in July. I used a non-holiday stamp set,
Cart Pals: Baby from
Clear and Simple Stamps, to create this simple, festive holiday card.

I stamped the cart image and “filled” it with the candy treats image. The candies are colored with Copic markers, then covered with some glitter for a nice sparkly look. The woodgrain pattern on the cart comes from the coordinating
Cart Parts set.
The cut out cart is attached to a white panel with foam tape. I added a gray strip to the panel to ground the image. The “sweet holiday wishes” sentiment is stamped next to the cart in red ink. For a whimsical touch, instead of stamping a handle for the cart, I added one with a piece of baker’s twine.
