Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

For this month’s Clear and Simple Stamps design team group post, we’re getting a head start on the holidays. I made a festive card using the new By the Glass set that would make a great holiday party invitation.

I used the set’s martini glass image and colored it with Copic markers, then cut out the stamped image and set it on a white panel using foam tape for dimension. A few random green olives were stamped next to the glass. To make the white panel a little less bright, I rubbed some distress ink along the panel’s edges before attaching it to the Kraft Like a Rockstar Green card base. I stamped the “eat, drink & be merry” sentiment from the By the Glass Sentiments set just beneath the panel in black ink. For one final pop of color, I die cut a red cardstock strip using CSS’s pinking border die and attached that along the right side of the card.
