Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 163-Go Bananas

I've been sitting on some exciting news for a little while now and today, I can finally share it!  I'm joining the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge team!  I was thrilled when Karen invited me to join the team and I couldn't wait to get started on my first sketch.  And, here it is . . .

Here's my card for the sketch.  I used the Go Bananas set from The Cat's Pajamas for my card.  I stamped the set's monkey pair on a long white panel, colored the images with Copic markers, then used a sponge with some light blue ink and a cloud template to add a soft cloud-filled sky backdrop.

The image panel is set on a piece of green dotted paper along with a strip of dot embossed kraft cardstock.  Instead of using a strip of ribbon or cardstock across the cardfront, I wrapped some yellow baker's twine around the card and secured it with a big button.
