TCP Tuesday 233-Mwahh!

It’s my turn to host the TCP Tuesday challenge and this for week’s color challenge, we’re going with a Halloween inspired color combination—pumpkin, lime, and charcoal. They’re perfect for spooky creations!

I used the Mwah set and this week's Deconstructed Sketch, flipped on its side, for my card. I colored the mummy with Copic markers and cut it out, then layered it on an oval panel with foam tape. Now that I’m looking at it again, I probably should have drawn a sidewalk at the bottom of the panel and sponged in a cloudy sky, too . . .

I used three different patterned papers—one in each of the challenge colors—for the panels on the cardfront. Once the panels were in place, I added the colored image on top. For the pair of round embellishments at the top of the image panel, I used a circle punch to create an orange crescent moon and accented it with a small sparkly chipboard star. The set’s “mwahh” sentiment is stamped at the bottom of the card in black ink.

I hope you’ll play along with this week’s challenge for your chance to win some Cat Cash. For all the details and more inspiration from the Cat Pack, stop by the TCP forum on SCS.
