Way to Go

Here’s my card for this week’s CAS(E) this Sketch and CAS-ual Fridays challenges. I combined the sketch with the challenge to make a masculine card to come up with this super simple design.

To represent the three elements in the sketch, I arranged a trio of die cut blue and green arrows on an aqua blue panel. While this seems super easy, it took me what seemed like forever to come up with an arrangement for the arrows that I was pleased with. Between mixing and matching the different shapes, sizes, and colors, there were a lot of options! Once I settled on one, I glued the arrows down and added the “way to go” sentiment from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler set in green ink. The panel's set on a green card base for a little contrast.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler stamp set, Tsukineko Memento Pear Tart ink

other: Aqua Mist, Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, and Hawaiian Shores cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Die-namics Lead the Way dies (My Favorite Things)
