Customer Appreciation Month at Clear and Simple Stamps
December is Clear and Simple Stamps' Customer Appreciation Month. All CSS online customers will receive a handmade card and sentiment stamp from CSS. Visit with Clear and Simple Stamps to learn more about the Limited Edition: Joy set. Today the Clear and Simple Stamps design team is showcasing this new set. You might also notice another new addition to the CSS lineup—metallic cardstock, envelopes, cording, and giftwrap! These new items are available in silver, gold, and white. They’re so pretty IRL and are perfect for adding a little something extra to your projects.
I made a card and coordinating gift using the Joy set and one of the new metallic products. The design for the card is based on this week’s sketch from CASE this Sketch. I used a plain white card base along with CSS’s new Sterling Silver cardstock. The “wishing you joy” sentiment is stamped directly on the long strip of silver paper in Haute Red Couture ink—so pretty! I added a piece of narrow striped decorative tape beneath the long silver strip, then added another smaller silver panel beneath that one. A trio of clear crystals adds even more sparkle.
The coordinating treat is a clear mini bucket with a snowflake pattern on it. After filling the bucket with some starlight mints, I added a circle of clear crystals to the lid for some sparkle, then made a tag that echoes the design of the card. I used the large tag from the Tags 1 set, trimmed down a little to better match the size of the bucket, along with the same sentiment and decorative tape. It’s tied to the bucket’s handle with red satin ribbon.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created using the new Limited Edition: Joy set. Here’s where to find them:
