Mr. and Mrs. Muse

Here's my card for the current Muse card challenge.  I took my inspiration from the pretty floral cluster at the corner of Laurie's design.  In my version the floral image is replaced with the elegant doily image from Clear and Simple Stamps.  My original plan was to keep the design pretty close to the inspiration card, but as I worked, I made a few more changes, including adding a second doily image and changing the orientation of the card.

I stamped the doily image in a shiny silver ink in the upper left and lower right corners of the gray cardfront.  The stamping doesn't show up too well in my photo, but the silver on gray looks so pretty and elegant  IRL!

I used a rectangular sentiment panel with a ribbon tab and a decorative edged strip along the bottom, just like in the inspiration card.  Mine has a two line sentiment with two different fonts, created by combining two different phrases from the All Occasions 1 stamp set.  They're stamped in gray for a soft look. I matted the panel on a piece of black cardstock, then added the accents--a silver satin ribbon tab and a silver scallop edged strip--to the edges of the panel.  It's adhered to the card with foam tape.

Materials Used:
Doily and All Occasions 1 stamp sets, You're Such a Gray-cious Host ink, I Steel Got It, Perfect Little Black Dress, A Blanc Check, and Sterling Silver cardstock, Scallops die, You're Such a Gray-cious Host satin ribbon (Clear and Simple Stamps); Encore Silver ink (Tsukineko); foam tape
