Retro Sketches #53-Fun{tache}tic Day

I'm so excited to be joining the amazing team at Retro Sketches as a guest designer for March!  This week we're working with a sketch from Arielle.  I came up with a masculine card using the sketch.

My card uses The Mustache Set from The Cat's Pajamas.  I die cut a mustache from felt using the coordinating CutUps Mustache dies and adhered it to a cream panel, then stamped the "have a fun{tache}tic day" sentiment beneath it in blue ink.  The panel is matted on blue and kraft cardstock, then adhered to the card over a trio of blue notch-ended strips.  I varied the widths of the strips a little and dotted the ends with some faux metal stud embellishments to add interest.  The pieces are set on a multicolored striped paper panel with machine stitched edges.  I used the same blue cardstock as I used on the card to set the patterned paper off from the kraft card base.
