Soda-lighted
Here’s a quick card for this week’s CAS(e) this Sketch challenge. I used the tall, thin soda bottle from the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Soda-lighted stamp set as my focal image for the card.
The soda bottle is colored with Spectrum Noir markers. The little pops of red from the stripes on the straw are a nice contrast to the bottle’s brown.
I layered the colored image on a red panel to match the red in the straw, then set the layered panels on a kraft card base. The “soda-lighted you're my friend” sentiment is stamped on a notch-ended strip in black ink. It’s adhered over the center of the image with dimensional dots.
Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers: Fresh Squeezed Stamps Soda-lighted stamp set, Crafter's Companion ultra smooth premium white cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Spectrum Noir markers (TN3, TN5, TN6, TN7, TN8, CR8, GB4, BG1,BG2, BT1), Sticky Thumb dimensional dots
Other: Real Red cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Desert Storm cardstock (Neenah)
