Paper Smooches SPARKS April Cool Shades Challenge

This week's Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge is a Cool Shades challenge based on the colors in the swatch above.  All those blues and greens are right up my alley!

I used the colors along with the Cuteasaurus set and matching Dinos 2 dies for this fun card.  I die cut the dino from white cardstock, stamped the matching image on the die cut piece, then colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  I used dimensional dots to attach the dino to a background panel with a blue sky and green grass, made with a border punch.

The scene is adhered to a piece of light blue patterned paper with a triangle pattern.  To echo the triangle shape, I attached two notch-ended cardstock strips at the bottom of the image panel.  The strips are accented with a green button tied with some neon green twine.  I added the "you are awesome" sentiment at the top of the panel on a half circle panel that matches the shapes of the bumps on the dinosaur's back.

Be sure to check out the challenge blog for all the details on this week’s challenge and some amazing inspiration from the design team, too. Here are the rest of the team members sharing projects today:
