TCP Tuesday-Hiya Honey!

I’m back with another card for this month’s TCP Tuesday challenge. This month’s theme is flowers. I used a few TCP CutUps dies along with one teeny, tiny stamped image to create this sweet springtime scene for the challenge.

I built the little scene on some blue on blue dotted paper. It includes grass, die cut with the CutUps Grass border die, and a pair of layered flowers, die cut with the CutUps Flower Buttons dies. The little button holes in the flowers were threaded with some of TCP’s cream linen thread.

I stamped the bee from the Honey Bear stamp set on the panel next to one of the flowers, then stamped it a second time on a scrap of white cardstock. I colored the scrap paper bee with Copic markers, then cut it out and attached to the scene with a bit of foam tape. The “hiya honey” sentiment is stamped on the grass strip. I used one of the CutUps Toppers dies to cut a decorative edge for the scene from a pink cardstock panel. After adhering it to the bottom of the scene, I tied some celery ribbon around the panel, then attached it to a pale yellow panel with a debossed dot pattern.

You can find all of the details on this month’s challenge and link up your flower projects here.
