Color Throwdown 245-Sunny Days

It’s time for another Color Throwdown! Tammy is our hostess this week. We’re super excited to welcome her back after a short break last month. She’s chosen Groovy Guava, Barely Banana, Kiwi Kiss, Melon Mambo, and White as our colors.

I used the current Sketch for You to Try along with the I Like You stamp set from Reverse Confetti for my card. Since the set doesn’t have any image stamps, I fashioned my own “image,” using a dotted paper circle over a pinking edged circle to make a sun. I adhered the sun to a yellow panel with dimensional dots, then added a die cut white felt cloud for texture. The set’s “I love you” sentiment is stamped along the bottom of the panel in a bright pop of pink ink.

The image panel is layered over an embossed white panel with a pair of solid fishtail flag strips. The rest of the sentiment is stamped on the bottom strip in white pigment ink. I layered the finished panel on a yellow mat, then on a guava card base. Nice and cheery!

To play along, just create a paper crafted project using these colors as a starting point and add a direct link to your finished project using the linky tool found at the end of this week's CTD post. As always, if you don’t have exact color matches, something close works just fine. And, if you upload your project to an online gallery, use the keyword CTD245. Before you get started, here’s some inspiration from the talented Color Throwdown team and June's guest designer, Wanda Guess.
