Morning Brew Review

Release in Review week continues today at Clear and Simple Stamps with a look back at the Morning Brew series. I’m not really a big coffee drinker, but I do love coffee themed stamps—not sure why that is, but it’s true! I put together this simple gift set featuring several of the sets in the Morning Brew series along with the versatile Curly Label Frames 1 stamp set.

Here’s a look at the simple card I created. I stamped the rounded label image on a kraft card base in brown ink, then stamped the “I’ve bean thinking of you” sentiment at the bottom of the frame. The frame’s filled with a to go cup, die cut with the Coffee Cup die and stamped with the matching images from the Morning Brew:  Coffee set.

To go with the card, I filled a Party Favor 3 box die cut from kraft cardstock with some coffee flavored candies (these I do like!). I stamped the same frame image on the front of the box and filled the frame with another to go cup. This time, I stamped the “java great day” sentiment from the A Little Java set at the bottom of the frame. I made a handle for the box with some of CSS’s satin ribbon—so pretty! To go with the box, I got a to go cup of coffee ready and wrapped it with a kraft sleeve cut with the Beverage Cozy die.
