What's Shaking?

It's no secret that I can't resist a cute bunny image!   It's been a while since I used Verve's Bunny Shake set on a card, so I pulled it out for this month's final Viva la Verve sketch.

I colored the bunny with Copic markers and added some white flock to the tail to make it super fluffy.  After cutting out the image, I used foam tape to adhere it to a white panel.

I pulled the color scheme from the challenge's optional inspiration photo for the colors on my card.  I also incorporated a few fun patterns, just like in the photo.  I started with a celery green cardstock panel.  I attached a green chevron patterned panel at the top of the cardstock, then added an orange dotted paper panel beneath it, using solid orange cardstock strips to transition between the two patterns.  A turquoise pennant strip extends out from underneath the bottom orange strip.  I adhered the panel to a white card base, then set the bunny image on top at an angle.  The set's "what's shaking" sentiment is stamped in orange ink and adhered to the cardfront with more foam tape.

Materials Used:
Bunny Shake stamp set, Pennant Trim die (Verve Stamps); Memento Tangelo and Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin' Up!); Sweet Shoppe 6x6 paper pad (Lily Bee Design); The Sweetest Thing-Tangerine 6x6 paper pad (My Mind's Eye); circle punches (EK Success); white flock (Stampendous); foam tape
