All the Best
Here’s my card for this week’s Muse challenge. I was inspired by the original card’s floral images and simple layout. My card incorporates both flowers and the layout with a little twist.
I used a pair of flowers from Papertrey Ink’s Daydreamer stamp set for my focal image. Instead of stamping the floral images repeatedly, I just stamped a pair of images, one large and one small flower with matching stems.
I adhered a strip of pale pink cardstock along the bottom of the card, just beneath the flower stems. The original card had a dotted strip underneath the flowers and I represented that element in my design with a strip of green dotted washi tape that runs along the top edge of the pink panel. The “all the best” sentiment from the Tiny Tags set is stamped on a Tiny Tags die cut piece and attached to the card with a piece of twine wrapped around the cardfront.
Materials Used:
Daydreamer and Tiny Tags stamp sets, Tiny Tags die (Papertrey Ink); Memento Pear Tart ink (Tsukineko); Pink Lemonade ink, Bubblegum cardstock (My Favorite Things); white twine (Hemptique); green dotted washi tape
