TCP Tuesday-Fly Me to the Moon
The theme for this month’s TCP Tuesday challenge is tall and thin. We’re creating cards that fit an A9 envelope. This is a standard business sized one. My card measures 8 ¾” x 3 ¾” and fits perfectly inside one of these tall envies.
For this card, I flipped the long, tall card base on its side to create a space themed scene. I debossed a piece of a rounded yellow panel to make a moon for the bottom of the scene. The stars from the Soar set are stamped randomly around the dark blue panel in a sparkly silver ink. I stamped the set’s bunny in a rocket ship image on white cardstock, omitting the flames at the back of the rocket, and colored it with Copic markers. The rocket is attached to the panel with foam tape. I added a piece of a crystal flourish extending out from the back of the rocket for even more sparkle. The “fly me to the moon” sentiment from the Away We Go set is stamped on a red notch-ended panel that I adhered to the left edge of the card along with a piece of knotted red grosgrain ribbon.
You can find all of the details on this month’s challenge and how you could be our next Swanky Stamper here on Alma's blog or in the TCP member company forum on SCS.
