Thanks Chickie

Here’s a clean and simple design inspired by this week’s Muse challenge. It also fits one of the SCS Dare to Get Dirty challenges. You can find all the details on the challenges here.

I loved the pink and navy color combination on the inspiration card, so I made sure to incorporate that in my design. I replaced the cluster of flowers with a trio of feathers stamped with one of the images from the Waltzingmouse Stamps Funky Feathers set. They’re arranged at the corner of a die cut Polaroid-style frame. I stamped the set’s “thanks chickie” sentiment at the bottom of the frame and tied a piece of pink twine underneath it to bring in a bit more of the color. I finished it off with a crystal flourish in the frame’s open space.

Materials Used:
Funky Feathers stamp set (Waltzingmouse Stamps); Memento Angel Pink, Pistachio, Cantaloupe, and Nautical Blue inks (Tsukineko); Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstock (Stampin’ Up!); Die-namics Insta-Frame die (My Favorite Things); clear crystal flourish (Michaels); foam tape
