Thanks a Latte
Here's a coffee themed card to get Monday morning off to a good start! I used this week's Deconstructed Sketch along with the Morning Brew: Coffee stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps for this thank you card.
I stamped the mug in blue ink on a white panel and added the foam above it using black ink for the outline. The tiny heart on the mug was filled in with a glittery red Spica pen.
After matting the image on red cardstock, I set it on a multicolored striped panel over a block of gray cardstock. It looks brownish in the photo, but it really is gray! The layered panels are adhered to a pale pink cardfront.
I stamped the "thanks a latte" sentiment on a pink strip and attached it to the cardfront, placing it just beneath the stamped image. It's accented with a die cut red felt heart and a pink twine tied button.
For more Clear and Simple Stamps inspiration, be sure to stop by and check out the CSS Daily iPhone/iTouch app. There's a new, exclusive to the app project shared each and every day.
Here's a little sneak peek of one of my projects that will be seen on the app tomorrow. If you look closely, I bet you can figure out what stamps I used. You can get all the information on downloading the app for yourself here.
