TCP Tuesday-Handle with Care

Here's my second take on this month's TCP Tuesday paper piecing challenge.  I used the sweet Bear Hugs set for my card.

The bear image was colored with Copic markers.  I paper pieced the heart that the bear is holding in his hands with a piece of plaid patterned paper.  The finished image panel is matted on red cardstock.

I stamped the set's "handle with care" sentiment on the edge of a rose cardstock panel, then wrapped some twine around the panel underneath the sentiment and secured the twine with a bow.  The panel is matted on the same red cardstock as I used to mat the image panel.  The two stamped panels are layered on a panel with some of the same plaid patterned paper I used for the heart and a white doily topped with a strip of red grosgrain ribbon. Using the same patterned paper on the cardfront and the image helps tie the pieces together nicely.

For all the details on this month's challenge and how you can play along for a chance to be the next Swanky Stamper, check out Alma's blog or the TCP member company forum on SCS.  We've also welcomed some new members to the Cat Pack, so be sure to check them out and give them a warm welcome.
