I Pick You

Here's a sweet card based on the current sketch from the Clean and Simple Stamping blog.  The solid apple images from Papertrey Ink's Apple Prints set were perfect for the trio of elements .

I Pick You-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Papertrey Ink
I die cut the apples from white cardstock, then stamped the matching image on the die cut pieces using Memento Luxe ink in Love Letter.  I think these Luxe inks may be my very favorite new crafting item from 2013!  They are the best for solid image stamps.  The apples are adhered to a white cardstock panel with foam tape.  Since I wasn't sure I could get things spaced out evenly if I stamped them, I die cut the stems, too.  After stamping them with brown ink, I tucked them underneath the tops of the apples.  The set's "I pick you" sentiment is stamped in red ink on a green cardstock strip and adhered near the bottom of the panel, overlapping the bottom apple just a bit.  I layered the panel on a green mat, then attached it to a kraft card base. Small strips of red grid patterned washi tape at the top and bottom of the panel add a little bit more color and some pattern to the design.

Materials Used:
Apple Prints stamp set, Simply Chartreuse cardstock, Apple Prints dies (Papertrey Ink); Memento Luxe Love Letter and Toffee Crunch inks (Tsukineko); Crumb Cake cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white cardstock (Michaels); red grid tape (Love My Tapes); foam tape
