Love Struck

Here's a cute Valentine's Day design for this week's Paper Smooches SPARKS anything goes challenge.  I used images from the new Love Struck set to put this one together.

Love Struck-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Paper Smooches
The set's baby Cupid is my card's focal image.  I colored the image with Copic markers and paper pieced the diaper with a scrap of the same pink dotted paper I used on the card front.  The image was cut out with the coordinating Love Struck Icons die.

I used dimensional dots to attach the Cupid image over a half of a paper doily set over the patterned paper panel.  A dark pink fishtail flag strip runs along the bottom of the patterned paper panel.  A red strip, stamped with the set's "love struck" sentiment, is tucked underneath the bottom edge of the dark pink strip.  I adhered the finished panel on a pale pink card base to match the pink dotted patterned paper.

Materials Used:
from i {heart} papers:  Paper Smooches Love Struck stamp set and Love Struck Icons dies, Crafter's Companion ultrasmooth white cardstock, Tsukineko Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Echo Park Bundle of Joy Dots and Stripes-Girl 6x6 paper pad, Sticky Thumb dimensional dots

other:  Real Red, Pink Pirouette, and Melon Mambo cardstock (Stampin' Up!); white paper doily (Wilton)
