Love Is Brewing

Here’s a clean and simple design inspired by the current Curtain Call Inspiration challenge's "Cuppa Cocoa" theme. I used the inspiration photo’s colors and image alog with this week’s sketch from CAS(e) this Sketch to put together this love themed card.

Love Is Brewing-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Clear and Simple Stamps
I stamped the mug and whipped cream images from the Clear and Simple Stamps Morning Brew: Coffee set on a white panel. It’s supposed to be a latte, but let’s just pretend it’s a big mug of hot cocoa! The cream’s shaded just a bit with Copic markers to add depth. I used a marker to fill in the open heart on the mug with a pop of color.

The “love is brewing” sentiment is stamped on a kraft Favor Flag die cut in brown ink. I used foam tape to adhere it to the panel just underneath the mug. The finished panel is layered on a kraft card base.

Materials Used:
Morning Brew: Coffee stamp set, Brown Leather Satchel and Perfect Little Black Dress inks, A Blanc Check and Kraft Like a Rockstar cardstock, Copic markers (R14, B0000, W-1, W00), Favor Flags dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Luxe Teal Zeal ink (Tsukineko); foam tape
