You Mocha Me Crazy

Here's my card for January's last Viva la Verve sketch.  I used January's sketch to make a card perfect for giving in February!

You Mocha Me Crazy-designed by Lori Tecler-Inking Aloud-stamps from Verve Stamps
My card uses Verve's Better with You stamp set.  I used the set's to-go cup as my focal image.  It's colored with Copic markers and cut out, then adhered to the round panel with foam tape.  I layered the round panel on top of a piece of striped patterned paper and a strip of red grosgrain ribbon arranged on a pink cardstock panel.

Once the pieces were in place, I added the "you mocha me crazy sentiment."  It's stamped in gray pigment ink and tucked underneath the  raised edge of the to-go cup.  I made one final addition to the design--a fun flourish extending out from the top of the to-go cup to look like steam.

Materials Used:
Better with You stamp set (Verve Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Gray Flannel inks (Tsukineko); markers (Copic); white cardstock (Taylored Expressions); Steel Grey cardstock (My Favorite Things); Sweet Blush cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Yours Truly 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park); circle dies (Spellbinders); red grosgrain ribbon (Michaels); crystal flourish (Prima); foam tape
