Best Friends Forever

This week’s blogger challenge theme is animals. I used the challenge as an opportunity to ink up those cute bunnies from the Mama Elephant Honey Bunny stamp set again along with this week’s sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Best Friends Forever-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
The bunny pair was stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then cut out with the matching die. I used foam tape to adhere them to the simple scene I created on the cardfront. I used a blue dotted panel to make a sky-like background, complete with a pair of die cut clouds layered at the top of the panel. The grass the bunnies are sitting on was die cut with one of Mama Elephant’s Landscape Trio dies—love the perforated detail that follows the curve of the cut piece! I stamped the “best friends forever” sentiment on the green panel in black pigment ink. I added a few blue sequins around the bunnies for a little sparkle.  The finishing touch was a bit of white flock on the bunny tails to make them fluffy!

Materials Used:
Honey Bunny stamp set, Honey Bunny and Landscape Trio dies (Mama Elephant); Sea Glass cardstock (Avery Elle); Green Acres cardstock (WPlus9); White Pearl cardstock (Clear and Simple Stamps); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black inks (Tsukineko); Let’s Polka designer paper (Lawn Fawn); cloud dies (Lil’ Inker Designs); white flock (Stampendous); aquamarine sequins (Pretty Pink Posh); foam tape
