Pinch Me
Here’s my card for this week’s sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. I took the color scheme from the current challenge at The Card Concept and used it for this clean and layered design.
In keeping with the season, my card has a St. Patrick’s Day theme. I adhered a dark brown cardstock panel to a white card base on an angle, then layered a piece of green dotted paper on top. I’m still trying to work my way through some older 12x12 patterned papers, so I was glad to find one perfect for the color challenge in my collection!
Once it was in place, I added a white Favor Flag die cut strip stamped with the “pinch me” sentiment from the Clear and Simple Stamps Lucky Charm set. It’s accented with a green clover I made from a trio of die cut green hearts and a hand cut stem.
Materials Used:
Lucky Charm stamp set, Dish All the Dirt Brown ink, Dish All the Dirt, Glamazon Green, and A Blanc Check cardstock, Shapes: Hearts and Favor Flags dies (Clear and Simple Stamps); Penny Lane-Feeling Groovy “Blue Sky” Forget Me Not designer paper (My Mind’s Eye)
