Poppy Sketches #3-Happy Birthday
It’s time for a new sketch at Poppy Sketches! For this round, we’re being sponsored by Lawn Fawn, one of my favorites. I used the #awesome set for this fun and trendy birthday card based on the sketch and colors.
For my focal point, I used the set’s Polaroid camera image along with a hand drawn Polaroid style photo frame. The camera was colored with Copic markers and cut out, then adhered to a green dotted paper panel using foam tape. I used a fine-tip black pen to draw a frame on a tiny piece of white cardstock, then stamped the party hat from the So Much to Say set inside. The hat was colored in purple and green to match the challenge colors, then adhered to the card with the top corner tucked underneath the camera. I added a few silver sequins around the camera and photo for a festive sparkle.
The “#happybirthday” sentiment was stamped on a kraft strip and adhered to the panel just underneath the camera and photo. I edged the panel with narrow purple and green strips, then set it on a kraft card base.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Poppy Sketches team has created using the sketch and colors along with stamps from Lawn Fawn. Here's where to find them:
