Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 215-Sending Smiles

It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge!  I used one of the cute critters from the Mama Elephant Up and Away set for my card for this week's sketch.

Sending Smiles-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Mama Elephant
I stamped the fox and bunch of balloons on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers, then used the matching dies to cut them out.  They're adhered to a background made from a blue patterned paper panel with a piece of green cardstock, cut with one of  Mama Elephant's Landscape Trio dies, along the bottom.  I stamped the set's "sending smiles across the miles" sentiment on the green cardstock in blue pigment ink.

The cardfront was partially embossed with a dotted embossing folder.  I added a trio of green cardstock strips across the cardfront.  Each strip is machine stitched along the bottom for a little contrast.  Once I finished sewing, I added the image panel on top.  I accented it with a die cut pink heart and a baker's twine bow.

To play along, just create a card based on the sketch and link it up on Karen’s blog. For lots of inspiration be sure to check out what the other Sweet Sunday Sketch stampers have created for you this week. Here’s where to find them:
